I know, a lil late to say this now but I just have to say it still: EXAMS ARE OVER! Which was last Friday and I hope i didn't screw up big shit. NTU profs are cunning and merciless people who love tricking students in exams.
I met up with the gal who just got her butt back here from Aussieland and of course, the other gal who finally got her butt off dragonboating\tourguiding\SNEAKING-AROUND-WITH-YOU-KNOW-WHO.
We had dinner at the Bukit Timah marketplace, and rambled about exam papers, YOU-KNOW-WHO, birthdays, Ade calling us in the future that she's getting married the next day\giving birth the next day\baby's 1-month the next day and we're expected to be there (and we'll just slam the phone on her if she ever did that). Talk about being Miss Sneaky or Miss Busy, that day's spotlight was on Ade Ho. Hahahaha. Michie and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves poking fun at her.
After the hearty affair at the marketplace, we walked to KAP to rent some dvds to chill out at Mich's. We got The Illusionist, White Chicks and Message in a Bottle. We only got through The Illusionist cuz Ade was being a pig.
Mysterious and intriguing, albeit frustrating at the end (because not everything was explained). I'm glad Mich introduced us to the show. Jessica Biel is hotness.
We went home around 11pm. Shall continue our marathon again!
I practically stayed home for the next two days because 1)Reub had more activities than me so we couldn't really go out, 2)most of my close friends are still having their exams and 3)those who are not having exams (insert Ade&Michelle here) are not free either. See, I hate to admit it but my social circle might be like this --> .
So I resorted to watching movies online! Thanks to Simren who recommended the movie website to me (along with floods of MSN icons).
I have been wanting to rewatch this (they refused to let me rent the dvd on Friday)! It's still a tear-jerker as ever even though I didn't shed a single of it haha. Shane West is cute! Although my best friend said he looks like a bulldog.
Everybody has been harping on this show and since it isn't really showing in theatres anymore, I decided to watch it online! I like Claire Danes. She has such charm and beauty on-screen. Oh I didn't know the village girl Tristen was going after was actually Sienna Miller! Anws, this film is good stuff if you love all things magical and faerie-ish.
Finally got to win a date with Reuben Sivaraj on Monday (no pun intended). We did routine stuff like eating, watching movies and shopping but I still enjoyed myself a lot cuz it's been such a long time since we did routine stuff like that! Exams make me lonely :(
We had lunch at Muthu's Curry and the food there is, according to Reub, super overpriced. But it's nice nonetheless. Then we headed to Marina Square for window-shopping. But surprise surprise, I actually bought a top (though Reub paid for it)! Yeah, that's what will happen when one gets cooped up in the house for too long- one splurges.
We caught The Kingdom at Marina Square. It's a lot of bombings, shootings, killings, shouting and butt-on-the-edge-of-seat moments. But it's sad, because some truth can be found in this fictional movie. Especially the last part of the movie, when they finally told the audience what the whisperings were about. I shall not spoil it here for you. Go watch it! Jennifer Garner and Jamie Foxx did a great job portraying their characters.
Meeting Fel later for sushi buffet! She is my Jap-food-eating partner, period.

I finally finished all my projects and assignments and whatnots! YIPEE! But I'll just be taking a short breather since it's like exactly 2 weeks to my first paper. School officially ends next Wed for me, thanks to stupid forensic science. I can't wait for everything to be over! Oh no, must start sending out my resumes soon for my internship (even people in Aus like Mich have already sent theirs out!). Competition is stiff man. I don't wanna work in the real world!
Sick. Shit. Exams!
